Chopper Tattoo – the Solution?

Chopper tattoo caught my attention so I did some research about it online and in person. Marking your body with ink is the most personal way of expressing your inner most feelings and emotions, so I had to take my time and really think about what I wanted to get.
Because of this long-lasting and permanent mark it’s a commitment. You could argue a tattoo is the most expensive form of self expression despite the fact it’s a relatively low financial cost.You’re manifesting on the outside and in artistic form a very deep and emotional display of what’s going on inside.
To avoid the feeling of being ripped off you’ve got to insure the highest probability of getting the design you want. The problem comes in getting the image you have in your brain transferred into the tattoo artist brain and then having him re-create that image on your skin.
Since words are just abstract representations for ideas and concepts it was very difficult to describe in words the feelings, images, and overall concept I had in my mind so the artist could understand.
Some people talk about putting body art on places that are more fun, but I started with small, simple, tried and true artwork. And having an image to start with even if it’s just a talking point is way easier to get your message across to your chosen tattoo artist going a long way to insuring you get the exact tattoo you want. Once I have this image and you have yours, it lays the groundwork so any customizations necessary can be drawn in by the artist as you’re describing them so you can both come to an agreement on a final drawing and then the artist can put ink to your skin transferring that drawing to your body.
It was a really big issue to be able to make the tattoo artists understand what I wanted and have him give me the correct tattoo.
Now, whenever I have an issue, I turn to the internet and start surfing the sites, forums and blogs to find out what information is available since in the past, I’ve found this to be very helpful.
It’s also cool to get others feedback so you can know from real people what’s worked for them and this is the name which kept coming up over and over to solve this problem of “describing in words what I want the tattoo artist to draw”. With this solution, you basically get a drawing board where you can choose from tons of various designs and pictures. You can either choose to have the artist copy the design straight from there, or you can change it any way you would like to match you.
Now I am happy and feel at home because my chopper tattoo looks just as good as anyone else I’ve seen. I can go to biker rallies with just pride.
